Re: Adrian in goal
I watched him dive forward and acrobatically punch a ball with both hands that hardly cleared the area, which Fab would heve caught.

I like Adrian, but at that moment I thought thank fuck we have a calming presence in our goal now who doesn't cause panic with every cross.

He can now add this medal to the Betway Cup one he won last year 🥇🏆

What a great time to be alive!

Re: Adrian in goal
no, my opinion's enough when I backed most of the horses you mentioned, many times. I couldn't give a monkeys about timeform but they rate horses for a living so I think their opinion of a horse is more valid than a silly cunt who thinks the only reason the horse was celebrated is because of his trainer's terminal cancer

Re: Adrian in goal
Fully deserved.

Shows what he can do with a decent defensive unit in front of him.

Van Diyk or Ogbanna eh?
Robertson or Cresswell.
Alexander-Arnold or Zabaleta.

Adrian is the MOTM according to Sky Sports!

Well done ADRIAN!

Re: Adrian in goal
Mike,

You've just posted why you are such a shit punter.

You're quoting Timeform, a different source, somebody else's opinion to back up your own.

Do you blindly follow Timeform, BHA ratings, the horse Ryan Moore picks?

They all know fuck all but you are a sheep blindly following other people.

Trust your own judgement, put the fiver down and blame the jockey afterwards.

And now Arnie is making headlines...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/49343208

"Former West Ham United striker Marko Arnautovic scores his fourth goal in six league appearances for Shanghai SIPG as the hosts beat Tianjin Teda 5-1 in the Chinese Super League."

Re: Adrian in goal
When we got fab I wasnt sure if he was an improvement .. but as much as I liked adrian, happy to admit I was wrong. fab is a great improvement.

Anyone that cant see that doesn't understand goalkeeping.
If fab played for one of the big clubs he'd let in fuck all goals, he has to face more shots than the man u, man city, liverpool goalkeepers face etc, due to the difference in defence in front.

Adrian will do fine for the scouse scum a slong as he doesn't let concentration lapse.

But to reiterate Fab IS better

Re: Adrian in goal
we've had a poxy defence for many years and the manager did nothing to improve it during the summer, only someone with an agenda would blame the keeper for saturday's result. like fuck do I agree about Frankel. my own eyes and the people at timeform have him at number one

Athletico Easthamico 1:41 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
But if we let in lots of goals we have to blame the keeper right?

We capitulate to shit like Cardiff. Look at the hoals against column, look at the lack of clean sheets?

We have to blame the keeper right? Those are the rules,

Anyway you agree about Frankel now?

Takashi Miike 1:36 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
he never made a mistake all last season, won Hammer Of The Year by a landslide but is suddenly shit because he got the angle wrong for the fifth goal? 😂

Athletico Easthamico 1:33 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
Browno fuckhead, I'm talking about Fabianski ,

Keep up fella.

Athletico Easthamico 1:31 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
Frankel was an overrated racehorse,

Take Dancing Brave and Sea The Stars and fuck loads of horses to beat him over 1 mile 2, including Enable.

Henry Cecil dying made the Frankel story.

El Gran Senor and Zafonic would have beaten Frankel over a mile.

Browno22 1:25 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
He's just played tonight and you commented 'let in another 5'

You didn't hink he was playing tonight or you can't count?

Takashi Miike 1:24 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
are you using the same logic with this that you used when you thought Frankel was an overrated racehorse?

lowermarshhammer 1:24 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
Get in. Gave it large.

Delighted about that in a pub full of plastic Chelsea.

Athletico Easthamico 1:21 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
Is he?

Another 5 in on Saturday,

Any chance of keeping a clean sheet against turd like Brighton?

Why are we still shipping goals? We blame the keeper right?

Why are we changing the goalposts for Fabianski? Is that why he got his angles so wrong for the 5th goal?

Takashi Miike 1:17 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
Isn't better than Fabianski

Mad Dog 1:13 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
You are aware (as much as I like adrian) fabianski is mich much better?

Browno22 1:12 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
You said let another 5 in.....

Athletico Easthamico 1:07 Thu Aug 15
Re: Adrian in goal
